Court Connected Information & Mediation ServicesThe Mediation Centre is under contract with the Ministry of the Attorney General of Ontario to provide court connected services for the following locations:
Milton Court Services The
Milton Court serves the Halton communities of Oakville, Burlington,
Milton and Georgetown by providing the following services:Information & Referral Co-ordination The Mediation Centre provides an Information & Referral Co-ordinator (IRC) at the Milton Court. The IRC can provide information to the public about mediation and community services to assist potential or current issues of the Family Court. The IRC also helps to co-ordinate the Mandatory Information Program in this court. There are no fees for the services of the IRC. Off-Site Mediation Services Comprehensive Family Mediation is available to all residents of Halton through a panel of highly qualified mediators. Fees are based on a sliding scale that looks at income and the number of children you have. As of September 1, 2011, The Mediation Centre will have an Oakville office for the convenience of their Halton clients. Brantford (including Simcoe & Cayuga) Court Services These courts service the families of Brant County and Haldimand Norfolk.Information & Referral Co-ordination The Mediation Centre provides an Information & Referral Co-ordinator (IRC) at the Brantford, Simcoe & Cayuga Courts. The IRC can provide information to the public about mediation and community services to assist potential or current issues of the Family Court. The IRC also helps to co-ordinate the Mandatory Information Program in this court. There are no fees for the services of the IRC. On-Site Mediation Services On specific days in each court, there will be on on-site mediator who will provide mediation services on narrow issues before the court. There are no fees for these services. Off-Site Mediation Services Comprehensive Family Mediation is available to all residents of Brant County and Haldimand Norfolk through a panel of highly qualified mediators. Fees are based on a sliding scale that looks at income and the number of children you have. The Mediation Centre will soon be opening a Brantford office for the convenience of their Brant County and Haldimand Norfolk clients. The
