Larry Chud, B.Ed., M.Ed., AccFM(OAFM), CPMed

Larry brings to The Mediation Centre extensive experience as a guidance counselor in the high school system. He earned his Masters of Education in counseling from OISE. Larry was very involved as a trainer in peer mediation within the school system.  He graduated from the McMaster Family Mediation Diploma program having completed a practicum with The Family Mediation Centre and he entered into the internship program.

Larry became an IRC and SSP facilitator in 2004 and a mediator at The Mediation Centre shortly thereafter.  In 2006, Larry joined the Board of Directors for OAFM and is currently the President of the Ontario Association of Family Mediators. Larry is also an accredited mediator on The Ontario Child Protection Mediator Roster.


Evelyn Vander Zaag, B.A., M.S.W., Acc.F.M (OAFM), CP Med.Evelyn Vander Zaag

In 2002, Evelyn began providing mediation services. With her MSW and her certificate in Family Mediation from the McMaster University Continuing Education program, Evelyn’s academic background has prepared her well for the challenges she faces as a member of The Mediation Centre team.  

Evelyn often speaks to different groups in the community about mediation and the impact of separation on children. Evelyn is a roster mediator on the Ontario Child Protection Mediation Roster.



Larry Marin, B.A., B.Ed., AccFM(OAFM), CPMed
                      Larry Marin Family Mediator               

Larry has been studying and teaching conflict management skills for more than twenty years.  He has run workshops and seminars for fellow professionals and has trained teenagers as peer mediators. 

After graduating from McMaster University's Family Mediation program, he interned with the Mediation Centre and was accredited in 2008.  In 2010 he added accreditation as a Child Protection Mediator and is on the Ontario CP Med roster. 

He is a volunteer presenter for the Mandatory Information Program at the Milton Superior Court of Justice.
